Sometimes it does seem as if preparing modules for Accordance is a bit like roasting the Thanksgiving turkey. It just takes so long to go through the necessary steps: defrosting, cleaning, salting, stuffing, wrapping, roasting, testing... It isn't made any easier by the delicious smells emanating from the oven, and the constant inquiries of "is it done yet? when can we eat?"
We are pleased to announce that a batch of modules made it through the process in the last few days and are now posted for your enjoyment.
Another batch is due to come out of the oven by the end of this month:
As you can see, our team of cooks have not been idle in the kitchen. We are grateful for their hard work and look forward to more exciting "dishes" now in preparation.
Helen, I really am delighted to see these items appear, but one that I have been waiting for that was announced for November 2009 originally is the LSJ unabridged Greek lexicon from Oxford. Any late word on when this might become available?
Carl, we still haven't received the etext from Oxford University Press. We are just as frustrated as you are. Rest assured that it will be top priority as soon as we have the text.
When I saw the "Out of the Oven" headline, I was hopeful that it was the long awaited announcement of the iPhone/iPad version...! But, alas, that must be in a different oven. (I just pgraded my iPhone from 3G to 4 so as to have the better screen, faster processor, and more memory in anticipation of the Accord app; I'll order an iPad once the app is sufficiently "roasted"!)
Here's another who is waiting patiently for Scott Liddell! ;-)
