We encourage those new to Accordance to watch our training videos in this sequence. About Us will introduce our company and its philosophy. The episodes under Accordance offer basic training for our computer software, while Accordance iOS offers the same for our mobile app.
Lighting the Lamp, our podcast series, first aired in May 2009 with Accordance 8. In the 80 plus podcasts since then, we’ve covered methods of Bible study, reviews of the new resources [“modules”] available for purchase, and Accordance’s successive improvements and additional features. While the current user interface is more modern, the underlying principles and techniques in these podcasts remain the same. We’ll be updating the earliest of these podcasts beginning September 2012.

[Basic: Accordance 10] Accordance 10 's new "flex search" makes searching English Bibles easier and more natural. Just enter the search term(s) and hit [Enter]. Accordance does the rest, finding every form of the word and (if there is more than one word) any order in the verse. Accordance now also switches automatically between searching for "Words" and "Verses."
#82) Sharpen Your Search Skills
[Intermediate: Accordance 10] Search options and Search commands are two additional ways to sharpen your searches. In this podcast Dr. J explains both and gives specific examples of their usefulness.
[Intermediate: Accordance 10] Search Symbols add precision in verse and word searches, helping Accordance outperform those old printed Bible concordances. This podcast explains each of the fourteen different symbols and demonstrates their use in practical situations.
[Intermediate: Accordance 10] [FUZZY] searches and flex searches are both more flexible than exact searches, allowing users to include similar words and phrases in their search results. This podcast compares the the two, demonstrating how to use both. It also explains how to "tune" the ambiguity of a [FUZZY] search for the best search results.
[Bible Studies: Accordance 9] This study of the word "light" uses the Accordance 9.4 free trial version and modules. A great podcast for first time users, it shows how to search the Bible, compare Bibles, discover the original word and its meaning, and access Bible study tools.

[Resources: Accordance 10] The revised edition of the Expositor's Bible Commentary is a major improvement upon the original. Dr. J reviews this new resource, highlights some of its additional improvements as an Accordance module, and walks viewers through setting up a Book Study Workspace. This episode also features tips on setting and using a default commentary—and showcases Accordance 10's new"reading mode.
