Sale on "Alternative" Primary CollectionsFebruary 15
Most Accordance users begin with one of two major collections of Bibles and books. The Library Collection offers an extensive library of English Bible study materials, while the Scholar's Collection offers original language Bible texts and study aids focused on original language study. By dividing our product line in this way, we enable English Bible students to purchase the material they want without having to pay for original language texts they'll never use, and we enable scholars and pastors to purchase original language material without having to pay for devotional resources that are of little value to them. For those users who want both kinds of resources, we offer a variety of combo bundles. As flexible as this system is, it still doesn't meet everyone's needs. While the Library Collection does contain a few writings from Roman Catholic authors (Aquinas, Pascal, etc.), it is not specifically aimed at a Roman Catholic audience. The Library is even less likely to appeal to Jewish users. And of course, since the Library is aimed primarily at an English-speaking audience, it doesn't begin to meet the needs of people those who do not speak English or who simply want to study the Bible in their native tongue. For all those reasons, we have a variety of "Alternative" starting points—primary collections for those whose needs are not met by the Library Collection. From now through March 15th, we're offering a sale on those alternative starting points: our Catholic and Jewish Collections, along with the Biblioteca Hispana (for Spanish speakers) and Mac Bibel Bibliothek (for German speakers). Be sure to take advantage of this sale while it lasts. |
