Will venders not attending cause Macworld to fizzle, or will it fizzle so venders won't attend? It's almost a self fulfilling prophecy thing if venders think an Apple-less Macworld will fizzle so they plan on not attending. Like I said, a tough one.

Oh, and BTW, I guess, after all, it is Macworld the publication and the expo. Macworld itself never capitalizes the "W" always refers to themselves, and to the expo in print as "Macworld" and ridicules those who don't know better and refers to them as "MacWorld." (can't find the article that said this in, but I remember reading it online that this is a "dead give away" to them that the person doesn't really know much about them when that person spells it that way). Not that it really matters.

Expo, we decided not to exhibit at an Apple-less MacWorld. It turned out to be the right choice, since MacWorld Boston completely fizzled after that.

If Apple is no longer at MacWorld San Francisco, we're betting it will fizzle as well, and so we have not signed up to exhibit there next year. We do, however, have tentative plans to do another training seminar to coincide with the next MacWorld. So we're not completely abandoning MacWorld.

Tom

Whoops, I now see your previous blog. But I will still ask, is Accordance not going to have a presence at Macworld any more?

Tom

PS. And as I think about it, perhaps the conference MacWorld is different than the publication Macworld. In fact, why not just ignore my entire post! haha.

It sounds like you are reminiscing about a deceased loved one.

Tom

PS. Don't forget, Macworld does not spell itself MacWorld and even tells others that it is Macworld, not MacWorld. :-)

Alex Kac

Well I was one of those new Accordance users who stopped by the booth and expressed my appreciation for the software.

The only thing it can do better for me right now is to write my sunday school lessons for me :)
