sclough:  I don't know of a single keyboard shortcut that will work, but you can right-click (or control-click) on the place name in a text, and then a contextual menu appears.  "Favorites" is one of the options in the contextual drop down menu, and workspaces are listed at the bottom of the Favorites list.

One of the key things I like about this is the sharing of content connected with the power of the tool. I often find that I know how to use the tool, but am unable to connect it with the right content. Sure, I get the obvious ones, but half I never would have thought to include! 

I personally would love to see more specifics on how to unlock the value of the content like this!
