I think I’ll keep my $49 for now, but I will be sufficiently enticed to purchase Accordance 9 (1) when the iPod Touch sync feature is added to it, and/or (2) when I am ready to pony up the extra cash for a syntax module.  But I understand the problem you have:  With a program as thorough, as fast, as flawless, as complete as Accordance is, it must be a daunting challenge to find enough significant improvements to put together an upgrade. Regarding comments by a previous poster, I marvel that anyone who actually uses Accordance would be concerned about cosmetic issues or how many bits (whatever) Accordance has.

(a) The UI looks identical to 8 - both being: old and dated, dull, an not very attractive at all...seems time to hire an actual graphical designer.

(b) Zones looks like a cluttered mess, esp. for laptops (interesting idea, but I don't think it's well executed).

(c) Mostly though, OakTree, I was looking forward to having REAL "cosmetic improvements" this time around, in order to bring it up to speed as a MODERN looking Mac app. Hopeful, eventually, soon you'll actually "update" the look by adding cool Core Image & Core Animation effects-features to Accordance.

 

P.S. Is Accordance 64-bit?
