Reading and displaying a PDF is beyond the scope of Accordance. However, you can add links to the external files to a user tool. Maybe add some key words to the section in the tool, and then a simple click will open the desired PDF.

Oops, should add that the pdf's can be copied from the (purchased) CD onto my hard drive but I can't copy and paste text from these pdfs to create a user tool within Accordance. All I want is to access them from within Accordance if at all possible :-)

hi David, thanks for this. I have another question / request related to user tools. Is it possible to access a pdf as a user tool? Or perhaps it might be possible at some point in the future if pdfs were stored in the right folder? I have a collection of Biblical Illustrator CD's with copy-protected pdf's - a brilliant resource, but they would be so much more useful to me if I could access them from within Accordance and include the text of these pdfs in an Accordance search. Asking too much perhaps!?! thanks again for an excellent program.
