I use 'copy as Instant Details' all the time and had used the 'Reference' option before, but had never noticed the 'Citation' or 'No Superscript'. These will come in very handy when grabbing text to put into sermons and slideshows.

David Lang

Peter, the Content References section of the Citation Preferences controls the appearance of the references for each verse. To remove them entirely, choose Omit Entire Reference from the Format pop-up menu. You'll also want to leave those two marker boxes empty.

As for the marker boxes in each section, you place the characters you want BEFORE each part of the citation in the first box, and the characters you want AFTER it in the second box. For example, to place quotation marks before and after the citation, you would put one quotation mark in each box of the Content section. To have the citation reference enclosed in parentheses, put an open quote in the first box and a close quote in the second.

Bernard Bell

I have long wanted to set "Copy as no superscript" as a default. I like displaying superscripts, but I have never yet wanted to copy them. So, many times every week I select text then choose "Copy as no superscript" from the contextual menu. This might be OK for some, but as often as not I lose the selection in pulling down the contextual menu. Eventually I may learn to use the keyboard shortcut.

Peter

Thanks, David. All that you cite above is familiar to me with the exception of eliminating the individual verse reference numbers, which I would love to know how to do. Help? Under thePpreferences-Citation option, I don't seem to find an option to perform this function. Further, within this Citation page, how do the marker boxes preform. I'm using Acc 9.5.7. THANKS
