We did that to emphasize the concordance aspect of the software, but we soon found people were mispronouncing the name as ay-cee-Cordance, and we knew we couldn't have that. I think around version 3 we changed the logo to eliminate that confusion, but we've always pronounced it "Accordance." :-)
