It did indeed work when I triple-clicked a Greek word, but when I triple-click an English word the Mounce dictionary comes up with the GK number without the G, whereas the NIDNTT-A uses a G in front of the number. So this whole linking tip only works with tools that have Greek entries and only when I triple-click in the Greek text. OK.

Bud Lengtat

"their" not "there" in my post above.

For those with smaller screens, try dragging one of them below the other instead of beside it.

Bud Lengtat

Could you help me implement this? When I triple click an English word in a text the Mounce Greek Dictionary is my default. I tried opening other resources and linking to it but when I triple click a word in the text, they just sit there at there title pages.

Darin Allen

Hmmm, I'm not sure what the exact space requirements are, but you may also want to raise the maximum number of zones. You can do this in Preferences >Appearance > Tabs and Zones > Default maximum zones. If it still won't allow the extra zones, then Accordance may require more screen space.

Fr. Larger screens may be able to accommodate a few lexicons side by side, as you see in the video. Smaller screens may require lexicons to be kept in tabs. Either way, the LINK functionality will still work even if all are not visible side by side. For reference, I recorded the video on a 17" MacBook Pro. I also often use a 27" Cinema Display, which allows a great amount of flexibility when setting up Accordance workspaces.

Jane

Duuuuh, make that lexicons.

Jane

That works beautifully, except for one thing. When I try to arrange the lesicons so tht all are visible, I always get the message, "There is not enough space to move this item into the work zone or space." I am using the entire computer screen.

Mark Nigro

In all the time I have been using Accordance, it never occurred to me that I could link multiple resource tools to each other like that.
