Accordance Version 8.0.5 Program Installers (August 31, 08)

If you do not own version 8, please click here to purchase the unlock code for Accordance 8 (new user or upgrade from versions 1 through 6....$49, upgrade from version 7....$39).

The price of the download is credited towards a future purchase of or upgrade to the Library, Scholar's, Jewish, or Catholic Collection.

No unlock code is required if you already have version 8 installed. Version 8.0.3 fixed the crashes on some Intel Macs (printing to HP printers, and 3D Map with NVidia chipset), and corrects some minor bugs in earlier releases of 7 and 8. Version 8.0.5 corrects a number of obscure bugs and improves HTML import.

Notes:

• The 8.x installer installs the Accordance program, fonts, and Help files, the latest widgets (in OS 10.4 and up), as well as new Greek roots, Greek words, Hebrew words, and Hebrew roots files for use with the grammatically tagged texts.
• If you already have Accordance, the installer will upgrade your current Accordance folder. See the new features in version 8. All significant changes are documented in the What's New? section of the Help.
• The installer does not put a new icon in the Dock. See the Troubleshooting page for help doing this yourself.
• If you experience font problems, please try the Font Fixer below, or download the new Accordance fonts.pdf and follow the instructions there.
• See the Help files in Accordance for comprehensive help getting started and using all the windows and features.

Accordance Version 7.4.2 Program Installers (December 2, 07 and April 18, 08)

No unlock code is required if you already have version 7.x installed. This version upgrades and corrects bugs in earlier versions of 7.

Notes:

• The installer will upgrade your current Accordance folder, program, fonts, and Help files. See the new features since 7.0. All significant changes are documented in the What's New? section of the Help.
• 7.4 does not run in OS 10.1 or 10.2. If you have one of these systems, please download this installer 7.3 OS X installer.zip (10.5 MB).
• If you experience font problems, please try the Font Fixer below, or download the new Accordance fonts.pdf and follow the instructions there.
• The installer also installs new Greek roots, Greek words, Hebrew words, and Hebrew roots files for use with the grammatically tagged texts.

Font Fixer Utility for OS X (updated Sept 7, 08)

The Font Fixer utility removes all old copies of all our Accordance fonts, and reinstalls only the latest TrueType fonts in OS X. It is intended for people whose Greek, Hebrew, or other fonts are not displaying correctly. The Accordance fonts.pdf explains the common problems and solutions. The Font Fixer is for those people who still have problems. If necessary you can rerun the latest program installer to get a full set of fonts.

• Download Font Fixer8.dmg for Accordance 8.
• Download Font Fixer7.zip for Accordance 7.3 to 7.4.
• Or Font Fixer6 for Accordance 6.9.2.

Accordance Widget (version 1.6.1, upgraded Jan. 16, 08)

The Accordance Widget requires Accordance 6.7 or above. The widget and the Read Me are included in the Accordance installers for 6.9.2 and 7, and are automatically installed on Mac OS 10.4. This installer is for users who want to try it with OS 10.3 and third party widget software.

Version 1.6.1 is compatible with Leopard (OS X 10.5), but restores the ability to paste into Word. It is included in the installers for Accordance 7.4.2 and 8.

Apple's instructions: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

AccUpdater Widget (version 2.2.1, upgraded Mar. 10, 07)

The AccUpdater Widget requires Accordance 7.1 or above. This widget lets you quickly compare the current versions of all your modules with the website information on the latest available modules, and download and install certain updates.

This widget is compatible with Leopard (OS X 10.5). It is included in the installers for Accordance 7.4.2 and 8. Version 2.2.1 corrects minor text display bugs.

Legacy Program Updates

Program Updaters to version 6.9.2 (from any version of Accordance 6) (Feb 6, 06)

No unlock code is required if you already have version 6.x installed. This version upgrades and corrects bugs in earlier versions of 6.

Program Updaters to version 5.7 (from any version of Accordance 5)

These files require any version of Accordance 5 to be on your hard drive (except the demo).

AccordIt Utility Version 2.3 (Sept. 7, 06)

The correct version of AccordIt for your Mac OS can be kept in the Accordance folder so that it can access the Accordance settings ƒ folder and the texts used by Accordance.

Accordance 5.8-es Program Updaters/Programas de actualización a Accordance 5.8-es

This is a localized Spanish version of Accordance 5.7. The installer will upgrade the program and all files to be compatible with Accordance 5.7 and higher. They will no longer be compatible with older Installers or versions of Accordance. This is a free upgrade if you have 5.4-es with Compubiblia, if not, you will need to order an unlock code from OakTree Software.

Esta es la versión de Accordance 5.7 totalmente traducida al español. El instalador actualizará el programa y todos los archivos para que sean compatibles con Accordance 5.7 o superior. Una vez actualizados, los módulos ya no serán compatibles con instaladores o versiones anteriores de Accordance. Se trata de una actualización gratuita si dispone de la versión 5.4-es incluida en Compubiblia. De no ser así, deberá solicitar un código de desbloqueo a OakTree Software.
