Copy and Paste: No page numbers

When I copy and paste as citations from Eerdman's Dictionary of the Bible and the BAR Archive, I do not get any page numbers. ,

For e.g.:

“Saving the Dead Sea Scrolls for the Next 2000 Years.” BAR n.p.
“CORBAN,” Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible, n.p.
Why is this? Can Accordance correct this in a future update?

Most of the time when we are provided an e-text for a resource, or export it ourselves, the page numbers are not preserved. This is especially true in older resources like the ones you pointed out. Over the last 5 years or so we have, at our own expense, had page numbers added to resources which we've deemed as most likely to be cited. And we're now in the habit of adding them to nearly all new releases.

The Eerdmans Dictionary is one that was recently pointed out as a good candidate to have them added, which we overlooked. So, we'll eventually add them. As for BAR I would have to look more into this to see how much work is involved, and how easy it would be to locate PDF or print copies to use as the exemplar.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think that BAR should include the journal year and edition rather than page numbers, when cited.
