Accordance Won't Open

I recently updated to Yosemite Public Beta 3. I was using Accordance fine, but then it abruptly closed. I am not sure why it closed, as I didn't do anything different than I had been doing successfully (scrolling, entering search text, highlighting etc.).

 

Now when I try to open the program, it hangs for half a second and won't open. I tried getting rid of the startup session under preferences, but that didn't work. Any ideas? Help!

Where would I find those to see if those are the problems? Thanks Helen.

General settings are in user/Library/Preferences/Accordance Preferences.

 

Highlight files are in user/Documents/Accordance files/Highlights
