Outis
Hey all, Am I the only one who doesn't get a reading for today from the daily readings? The tag "Day 29" appears in the search field, but no readings show. Is this a small error with the reading plan, that it doesn't account for the leap year? David Lang
Steve, the old Daily Readings module, which has now been divided into Devotional Readings and Chronological Readings, are read through the Bible in a (normal) year plans and so don't have an entry for February 29. Invoking the Daily Reading feature will search for "February 29" in your chosen devotional, and if it doesn't find it, will search for "Day 29" in the assumption that you may be using a 31-day devotional which uses day of the month rather than date of the year. Since these reading plans have neither February 29 nor Day 29, you end up with a devotional window with a failed search. Most of the other devotionals do have entries for February 29, though McCheyne's Reading Plans also lack it.
R. Mansfield
It's because "Nothing counts on Leap Day."
