davesalyer
Is there a way to type in the section numbers, i.e. "1.7.2" to find that section? I've tried doing this in the search bar but it doesn't work. I know I can access this through the drop down browser with a number of steps, but thought there might be a quicker way. Brent Lawrence
I believe so... try the "Go To" box in the bottom right hand corner of your window. Type in 1.7.2 and press return, or click the "Go To" button.
davesalyer
Yes, that works. Thanks. How does the "go to" box function compared to the search box?
Helen Brown
Search finds whatever you are looking for, in the specified field, such as Entry, Contents, or Scripture. The Go To box simply takes you to the entry or section you specify, or the closest one, depending on what is currently displayed in the window. For example, if you search for Ex 20 you will display only that chapter in the window. If you search for * (verse search) you display the entire Bible, and then you can enter Ex 20 in the Go To box to scroll the window to that chapter, but you still have the entire text, and can scroll wherever you want.
