Ken Han
As can be seen in the attached picture, there are THREE rows of controls and labels. Layers control / Items control Zoom out / in search / dates control the Rulers / Prophets / Individuals, etc. labels I realize the UI design as is probably takes into account the lack of horizontal space if another zone is open next to the Timeline. But timeline is content heavy as is, and it would really benefit from as much vertical space available as possible. Can the controls and labels be moved into one row? On a small screen (13) every bit helps. Thanks.
Greg Terry
I agree. More vertical area is a necessity. I attempted to use the timeline in my Sunday School class and it was impossible to get the entire vertical area shown at a usable viewing size on a widescreen monitor. The toolbar area could stand to be a bit less tall.
Scott Stringer
I also agree. One "work around" I've found to reclaim precious vertical space is to hit CMD-OPT-0 to hide the tool bar. Normally I also prefer to keep the dock active on the bottom of my screen, but I hide that as well when I use a projector to teach from Accordance. -Scott
