Highlighting Two Words at Once in iOS

I would like to be able to select multiple words at once in highlighting like I could in kindle, adobe, pages, notes, etc. As of now my only options are to highlight by word, sentence, or paragraph. Perhaps I would like to highlight two, or three words of a sentence. Perhaps I would like to highlight "Jesus Christ" and not just "Jesus" or "Christ."

This depends on being able to select at will, which is in the works but not yet ready for release.

Helen, that's great. I'd find the current system a little more workable, but even the sentence-level highlighting isn't always accurate. Periods in abbreviations, for example (especially, "B.C.") seem to throw the app off. I suppose the new way of highlighting will render this moot.

So will this new change allow us to highlight say a quarter of half of the paragraph? It's really frustrating only being able to highlight the sentence or the paragraph when most times it seems like I simply want something in-between!

Excited as well though about the ability to select individual words... thanks for all the work.

That's great to hear because the highlighter is one of my main obstacles of using Accordance in my iPad. I need to be able to highlight just one or two words as I read and study my Bible. Hope we get the upgrade soon.

Thanks

I am also very anxious for this update! Not being able to highlight words or phrases has proved to be a serious limitation for me and my iPad!

Same here. It's a much needed feature and I look forward to having it.

No it is not and this feature will probably not be in 1.7! Circumstances have dictated a revised roadmap on iOS features.
