Specifically: 1) What Hebrew word it is translating (when possible), and 2) being able to put NETS or Brenton below as well. Perhaps for part 1, the MT/LXX parallel database could be utilized? Joel Brown Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 We hope to add capability to use LXX interlinear in the future, possibly using the MT/LXX or something similar. Using an english translation of it would be significantly more difficult as there is currently no strongs mapping (or similar) between NETS or Brenton and the LXX. They've already done the work of expanding Strong's numbers for the Septuagint, which as discussed elsewhere in the forums is a huge amount of work. Perhaps the Accordance Folks could approach Charles VanderPool et. al. about developing an Accordance module group for the Apostolic Bible, and using the AB-Strong's numbers to key the NETS and the LXX-B as well? Lorinda... I would absolutely love this as well. I use this Bible version a lot, but after using Accordance it is really hard to go back and do word studies totally manual. Charles Vanderpool's translation of the Septuagint is rather literal but reads really well. In lots of ways it is rather compelling and creates a sense of "non passivity" God's direction for our lives.
