johnlee
After syncing latest Chinese Bbles, I cannot open any of them on my iOS Accordance: If I open them in library, Accordance quite immediately. If I open another text (such as ESV) then switch to any of them using the upper bar, only the name in the upper bar change, the text remains the opened text (ESV in this case). Thank you very much! Mike Garrity
There is an update coming for Accordance for iOS that will handle the latest Unicode bibles. Accordance on the desktop should not sync the latest Unicode Bibles to Accordance for iOS versions before 1.5. Also, Accordance for iOS (prior to version 1.5) should not attempt to open the latest Unicode Bibles. So, I think you have found a bug in our release of these Bibles. Just to be clear, did you use Accordance on the desktop to sync the latest Chinese Bibles to your device or did you use Easy Install/Check for Updates on iOS to install the latest Chinese Bibles? Sorry for the troubles, Mike
Scott Knapp
The latest update to some of our Unicode bibles to support word searching is not compatible with the current release version of Accordance for iOS (v1.4.3). They are compatible and work well in the upcoming v1.5 which is undergoing beta testing at the moment. Sorry about this unfortunate circumstance. Jonathan C. Borland
I can open all three Chinese simplified versions just fine on my iPhone running accordance iOS 1.4.3. As already mentioned, though, word searching is disabled.
Helen Brown
Jonathan: keep the current modules and do not sync or update them until you have 1.5 on the iOS.
johnlee
Mike, I see, thank you. I use desktop Accordance to sync those Bibles to iOS.
bcyc511
Hi, I am an iPad user and download the Chinese New Version directly through "Easy Install." However, the Chinese Bible is not displayed and Accordance for iOS is even closed. I long for Version 1.5 and appreciate the hardworking of Accordance's staff.
