ryangeer
Not sure if I'm missing something - when exporting from the bhs and copying into a spreadsheet for translating the line breaks in the Accordance window are maintained in the pasted text... however, when copying from the GNT-T they are not (which by the way is a real pain when formatting my translation sheets). Is there a reason for this or a setting I have wrong? Thanks for any help.
Helen Brown
If you export to Yehudit or any of the other Hebrew fonts, Accordance has to put a line break to prevent the text wrapping from the right and getting completely jumbled. If you check Unicode export there should not be any line breaks in either language, but of course you won't we working in our fonts any more. ryangeer
So, there's no way to get the line breaks with the Greek, right?
Helen Brown
Right, and they are entirely dependent on the pane width in any case. The exception are the uncial codices like Vaticanus. There the original line breaks of the manuscripts are preserved, and should appear on export as well.
