Ron Bailey
Does the copy as picture option for the Details function only work for the graphs? I wanted to simply copy and paste the Analysis Option but my only copy option seems to be copy all and paste the text. I wanted the surrounding frame of the Details window. jpkang
By "frame," do you mean the entire window with all of its elements (title bar, scrollbar, rows of buttons, tabs, and miscellaneous, as in the attached)? If so, you can "snap" the entire window using the sequence cmd-shift-4, space, then clicking on that window. This will save a snapshot of the window (or almost any other UI element you mouse over) to the desktop called "Picture n." Alternately, you can skip the file step and use ctrl-cmd-shift-4 in the first step to simply save the snapshot to the clipboard (so it can be pasted into another document). (not sure why my single attachment is posting doubly)
Diggertoo
I've found the "Grab" application that is part of Tiger or Leopard to work very well for copying and then pasting random selections. It allows you to copy (1) a highlighted "Selection", (2) an active "Window", or (3) the entire "Screen". I use Quicksilver to pull it up and then with a couple of keystrokes copy exactly what I need in seconds. It's just one of many ways to meet your needs.
