SteveL
I've noticed that the "+" symbol does not consistently display when expected. For example, when selecting More Options with the contextual menu, the "+" may or may not be displayed. Also, a possible feature request: How about a Clear All or Restore Defaults from the contextual menu to reset the More Options. Thanks for listening, -steve. SteveL
Also, a possible feature request: How about a Clear All or Restore Defaults from the contextual menu to reset the More Options. One way to implement this request may be as follows: a single mouse click on the "+" sign will bring up a dialog box that shows the Options selected and ask if you really want to clear them. Pressing Return (i.e., "yes") will clear all Options and restore to the default. Thanks for listening
Helen Brown
The + is only used in the Tools window, and indicates that there are extra search fields (even if they are empty). To clear it set the number of extra fields to 0. In the Search window a selected range appears beside More Options when the section is closed, and there are symbols for searches limited by brackets. The + is never used in the Search window, and other options like Compare texts of Add Context do not require a symbol since a glance at the text reveals their presence.
