Hello,

I've looked at what was here written about Accordance and unicode, but I didn't found what I searched for.

My problem: I have a greek NT-Text which should become a user bible. But this greek text is in unicode.

Is there any possibility to bring this text in my Accordance-Program?

Thanks for help!

Johannes

Currently, you are only able to create user Bibles from texts which are based on a Roman font. Ex: French, Spanish, German - yes; Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese - no.

I released a Unicode to Helena Font converter.

I think you could use the converter to change it to Helena, then create the User Bible, then set the font for that text to Helena.

Sorry that still won't work as you cannot set the font in a User Bible. I tried this with the Tregelles GNT last year and was given the response that I posted above.

Fwiw, you can also copy the Unicode into a User Tool and it will convert it to Helena.

That's a sad limitation.

Dear Joe,

I alway get an Error-Massage "-25131" if I use your script. What do I do wrong?

Greetings, Johannes

Ok, I managed it. Now I have the converted text-file but can't import it in Accordance jet. (Accordance is asking for an ASCII oder MacRoman file)
