Willgren
I tried to do a search for אדֹנָי, but with wrong statistics as a result. If I select e.g. אדֹנָי in Ps 2:4 and search for lemma, the search entry looks like this: [suffix] אָדוֹן= which is wrong, because I do not want to see the entries with e.g. a 1s suffix ( אדֹנִי). If i search for inflected, it looks like this: "אֲדֹן =יָ=" which generates wrong result, the occurence in Ps 22:31 does e.g. not show. If i search for root, I get all the occurences with the root אדון, which is not my intention. So do you have any suggestions of how to get around this problem? How can I get correct results in the search for אדֹנָי?
Helen Brown
Searching for the inflected form but then removing the equal sign on adon seems to work well. I get 438 hits including Ps 22:31. The kamatz eliminates the אדֹנִי form. Removing the equal sign lets you find all vowellings of אדן. It does miss Judg. 13:8 where there is a waw. To be more specific you can combine lemma and inflected forms, either with the @ or in the Construct window.
