Bug with Changing Display Text

The bug has come back that involves Accordance not keeping me in the same place when changing Display Text on English versions of the Bible.

 

Here's the sequence:

 

Close all modules.

 

Open a new KJV module.

 

Search for Dan 11:30.

 

Now change Display Text to various Bible translations, either by key-combo, or drop-down menu. I am not kept in the same place.

 

If I change to NETS, I am taken to 1 Cor 9:3.

 

Repeat the whole process and change to NLT, I get Dan 11:6

 

DSSB-E, Josh 19:19

 

BBE, Dan 11:11

 

This has been an issue with Accordance for a long time and it's quite disappointing to see it come up again. I hope it can be fixed soon, as this is very troublesome when doing study.

I think you need to uncheck "Always display search text pane" in Preferences > Search Tabs to get the old behavior.

Thanks Mike, but that box is already unchecked. I tested it both ways, and it behaves exactly the same way, whether that box is checked or not.

Randy, I can confirm this. Your prior fix broke something else, and fixing that broke it again for you! We'll post the fix soon that should fix both. Sorry about the hassles!
