iTunes unable to download 1.3

iTunes notified me that an update (1.3) is available for Accordance for iOS. I downloaded it, but the file that appeared in the Apps list in iTunes is still 1.2, and iTunes is still telling me that an update is available. I downloaded the update 3 or four times, including once on the device itself (and I also deleted the old version of accordance off the app list in iTunes and off my device -- but the version that installs is still 1.2. Have you uploaded the wrong version?

No we did not. And Apple would have rejected it if we had.

Did you try to download the update directly on to your iOS device or into iTunes and then sync?

Were you one of the beta testers?

I had the same experience. I am a beta tester and had 1.3RC on my iPhone. I used the App Store directly from the iPhone, and the download gave me 1.2

:o

Michael

NB: this was direct "update" on my iPhone (iTunes was tied up updating my iPad's iOS to 4.3.5).

I ran the update again, and the direct update successfully updated my iPhone from 1.2 to 1.3 :D

Scott - as I said, I tried downloading it both directly onto my device and through iTunes. It failed either way. No, I was not a beta tester.

Given my experience, try a direct update again.

FWIW, I just used iTunes to update Accordance, and it successfully updated my iPad from 1.2 to 1.3

Try again! B)

It may be that Apple did not have the updated binary fully propagated into place before posting the announcement.

My first attempt to update directly onto an iPad placed v1.2 over the release candidate build of v1.3. My second attempt of going to the App Store on the iPad and checking for updates again found v1.3 and this time the update to v1.3 was successful.

I would try again and please post your result.

Tried downloading it directly onto my iPad. Version number now says 1.3, but the app crashes constantly, every time I select a new text.

David,

So if I understand, the app launches correctly to the last opened module but when you open the Library view and chose any other module the app is always crashing?

Downloaded 1.3 through iTunes this morning, and it worked. Deleted Accordance from my iPad, reinstalled, synced all modules again. Seems to be working properly.

Glad to hear that.
