Λύχνις Δαν
Hi ya, I'm working on Rod Decker's Reader (which I find really good I must say), and have been playing with trying to search for instances of Granville Sharp. Below is my search and an apparently erroneous result. Ignore for the minute that the search needs various refinements such as excluding proper nouns, impersonal nouns etc., and focus on the negation of the article in the search between the και the second noun. Despite this I get Matt 1:2 which apppears to violate this constraint in the search - the τοὺς before ἀδελφοὺς. BTW my search scope is verse in case it matters which I rather doubt in this case. Am I doing something wrong here (and if so what ?) or is Acc misbehaving ? Thx D
Helen Brown
I think the negative article should go into the INTER item between the noun and the kai. This tells Accordance that you don't want an article between those words at all.
