Lets say I find 10 random verses on "love" and want to paste them into by Bible Study. 2. Being a new user I could sure use the assistance of a users manual. I'm trying to decipher why you're having difficulty copying multiple verses. I am wondering maybe the issue is that after doing a search, the text window is still showing ALL verses. If that is the case, if you move the "Context" slider down to 0, it will only display the verses that had "hits" on your search. Then you select all and copy. But, I may be way off on what you're asking. The Help menu has all kinds of great resources. I think the best thing for you would be to start with the Feature overviews at http://www.accordancebible.com/Features Secondly, the complete Accordance Help files are the exhaustive help resource (the manual if you will). The "Accordance Help" link under the Help menu. You can see there an outline of all the indexed topics. That is great to explore areas of interest. But also, there is a fantastic menu item under the "Window" menu, called "Window Help". I know how to copy a single verse and how to copy John 1:1 through John 1:10. What I don't understand is how to copy random verses. Lets say John 1:1, Mark 3:4 and Matt 25:2. Currently I have to copy and paste them one at a time which is very laborious and time consuming. I need to past multiple verses to the clip board and then paste them as a group. Thanks again. Helen Brown Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 You can add any verses you choose to a Reference List (Selection menu) and then save that tab, display any versions in it, copy and paste from it, delete verses, or use the CONTENTS command to search it in another tab. The problem is not in your answers (which are helpful) it is my wording the question correctly, Let me give it one more try. I just typed in "bondage" in the search menu. KJVS is my bible selection. I got a hit of 37 verses. While reading through the 37 verses I found four that Id like to paste into my Bible study. I know how to highlight and paste one at a time. What I want to do is copy the four I want and then paste them all at once. Copying and pasting them four times is a real chore that is very time consuming. I should be able to copy the first verse I choose, then copy the second, then the third and finally the fourth. (note, they are in separate books of the Bible) Then as a last step paste all four at one time in to my Word document. Presently when I try this now it only pastes only the last verse I have copied. davidmedina Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Just learn something that I think it may work too and it is pretty cool: the Mark selection (CMD+7). Using the mark selection (CMD+7) to select the verses you want to copy, then Selection>Add marked Verses to>Reference list to copy all selected verses and then print it or copy paste. Paul Meiklejohn Posted December 5, 2013 Share Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) David, in addition to all this if you are in a commentary or dictionary and it gives you a list of references i.e..."Hebrew word is found in Genesis 2:4; 5:1; 6:9; 10:1; 11:10, 27; 25:12, 19; 36:1, 9; 37:2. If you hover over the first ref you'll get a magnifying glass, then if you press cmd and drag over the rest, when you let go you'll get a handy search list of just those references. You can click and drag to open a set of references, but you can simply command-click (control on Windows) to open all the references in a paragraph.
