Johannes
Hello, I would like to point out to all who are interested in german resources that there is a new user-bible - the Menge Translation from 1926 - on Bibellesen mit Accordance (http://accordancebible.de). I also wrote a german review on Accordance 10 that you can find here: http://accordancebible.de/download/RezAcc10_d.pdf All the best, Johannes
Ken Simpson
Hi Johannes, could we add it to the exchange? What is the copyright status?
Helen Brown
We already have the Menge available in Accordance.

Helen Brown
Ours is @ 2003, not sure how much it differs from the older version. We need our German friends to weigh in here.
Johannes
Hello Helen, hello Ken, the Text you offer for purchase is the last revision of the Menge Bibel that Hermann Menge published in 1939. The text on my site is the first version Hermann Menge offered in 1926. Hermann Menge revised his translation in the years between continually, so that there are some differences in detail. My aim is to offer all public domain bible texts for Accordance - but it is still much work. By the way, people who are not very familiar with the english language (and I am not an expert too ;-) ) use my website for support questions and I try to help them as far as I can. So should I put "my" texts in the Exchange? You kindly added a link to my website at the Accordance Exchange - so I do not think that would be necessary - would it? Blessings, Johannes PS: The text from 1926 is in the public domain, while the rights of the 1939 text are - as far as I know - by the German Bible Society.
