Names dictionary

Over the last year or two, I have had to reinstall Accordance a bunch of times because of a senile laptop. It has finally died & I have reinstalled it onto my new desktop, but having gotten everything to work finally (fonts always drive me crazy) I clicked on a person's name in the book of Acts & it didn't come up with the names & meanings dictionary.

Now I am just a core bundle person, but I was Positive that I had that program previously on Accordance. Should it be there on my updated 7.4.2? Am I missing it somewhere? Did I dream that there used to be a dictionary of names when you clicked on a name. I know there is one for places...

Let me know if I'm going crazy, or where I can find my missing tool. I've already reinstalled as often as I can take it!

The Names module is in the Library Intro level, and if you have installed that level, it should be in your English Tools. It doesn't come up automatically if you click a name, only if it is the top English Tool in the pop-up menu.

If you installed that level but the tool isn't there, look for it in your Modules/Tools folder. If not there, copy it from the CD-ROM. Then in either case, double-click to add it to Accordance (you may need to contact us for the Basic group code, which depends on which release of the Library you have).

Now I see you have the Scholar's Core Bundle rather than the Library, so to get Names you can download the Starter Collection from our website.

Thanks Helen,

Always interesting to see that I can get a degree in theology, but I can't work out how to install simple programmes on my computer.

You continue to be a fountain of information.
