Can you be a bit more specific as to what you would want to use the software for? My advice for a package to a seminary student interested in doing textual research would be drastically different than a dad wanting to lead family worship more effectively. One of the beauties of Accordance is that you don't generally have to pay for modules that you would never use; usually you can tailor things pretty nicely to your needs.

I recommend that you start with choosing a primary collection, and then decide what add-ons you need. The Graphics Bundle is our most popular add-on.

I am a seminary student, so the capability of textual research is needed. I switched from a PC to a mac book for portability. I only took 1 year of Greek as of now. My current system was quite friendly with the interlinear editions.

I like BDAG and HALOT. Will the Library Collection us tagging?

You should start with a level of the Scholar's Collection as this is the one with the tagged original texts. BDAG and HALOT are on separate disks but can be added later.

Nope, I think you'll find it's pretty intuitive. There are some introductory videos online and free seminars that come around now and again that can give you a leg up on some of the more technical aspects. These forums are usually pretty helpful (and relatively speedy) if you hit any snags. Just make sure to run a search for your question before you post it to make sure it hasn't already been answered five times.

I'd also suggest planning on building your Accordance library over time, just as you would a regular library. In fact, setting something like $30 a month aside for modules (after your initial purchase) will eventually give you a fantastic library. Some of us have been doing this for many years now.
