Randy Steffens Jr
When I do a "All Texts" search for the phrase "God Breathed" and "God-Breathed", I don't get expected results. The non-hyphenated phrase reveals hyphenated results, and the hyphenated phrase, does not list the same hyphenated results as are listed with the non-hyphenated phrase. Try the search to see what I mean. Thanks, Randy
Helen Brown
I get consistent results with the hyphen. Without it there are some instances that come up hyphenated. I believe the reason is that for each text and tool the developers make a global decision as to whether hyphenated words are treated as one word or two. This depends on the way that hyphens are used in that translation overall. For example, is Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz one word or four? Where hyphenated words are one word, they will be found only when your search for the hyphenated word. Where they are ytreated as two words, they and the non-hyphenated phrase, will be found when you search for the phrase. I hope this rather technical explanation helps.
