New User How to I break down the sentences without a knowledge of original language?

In some of the Bible courses, they talk about homelitics. I would like to be able to properly dissect an English text, using Accordance, and understand the verb tenses used. Is there a basic discussion along those lines?

One thing you can do to get a better look at the English text is Phrasing. There is a book on this by William Mounce entitled "Greek for the Rest of Us." He does a good job at explaining how to break down English texts with the intent of studying the Greek behind it. While going through this book won't teach you Greek, it will give you the tools needed to do word studies, and with a program like Accordance, you will be able to do a lot with the little bit of Greek knowledge he does provide.

Here is an example from page 68 of the book. It shows how he suggests you break down the language into phrases. As you go through the book, it does get more in depth, but this shows the basic idea.

Don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but I hope it helps! :)

PS - This was done in the Accordance diagramming module.
