Ron Webber
To compare texts, simply open a tab in a workspace with two texts side-by-side. Click on the disclosure triangle that says "More Options" and select the "Compare Texts" check box. Welcome to the forums. Ron

Ron This seems to work for comparing the same text in different versions but can I compare a text in Luke to one in John in side by side panes? Helen Brown
First of all, the Parallel databases provide this for you. There are three arrangements of the Gospels. Just enter one of the chapters and you should be able to pick the "pericope" (unit) and see all its parallels in whichever texts(s) you have chosen. However, the Compare texts feature does not work in this window. If none of the databases list the passages you want in one pericope, return to the Search window and enter both references in the Entry box, and display them in two panes. You can then press the control key to scroll one pane while keeping the other static. Again, the Compare texts won't help, but you can visually compare them side by side.
