MartinClay
Hi, I have just noticed an error in Luk 13:4 in ESVi. It says eighteenon instead of eighteen on. The tagging seems ok though for eighteen but not for on. Martin
MartinClay
Another problem. Luke 13:11 seems to have the word behold missing in ESVi You'll have gathered I am reading Luke 13 this morning!
Ken Simpson
Hi Martin, when you come across errors in the text, select the text with the error, and then in the help menu, select "report a correction". Accordance will then format an email with the information Accordance needs to check it out. and will address it to the correct email. Then, when verified, it will be corrected in the next update to the text. Thanks for picking it up. Please report it in the way I have suggested. MartinClay
Just attempted this (I am an iPad user) I can't find a help menu. Is this just a Mac version option?
Ken Simpson
In fact, the tagging is not quite right IMHO. The first "was" is understood not explicit in the first clause, and is explicit in the second. The ESVS tagging points to the same instance of ἦν. It sort of is correct, (in that the second instance of the verb to be sort of supplies the context for the verb to be understood in the first clause). But report it anyway and let the Greek gurus decide. OK - it's not on the IPad to my knowledge. Thanks. I'll do it now.
