James Tucker at www.biblicalexegesis.org has posted a video on YouTube which compares a simple syntax search in Accordance 9 with one in Logos 4. Interesting.

Be on the lookout for next monday's post. You may or may not have noticed that the results differ between the searches: אלהים as subject, Accordance 134 hits whereas Logos lists 131.

Wow! the comparison between Logos and Accordance makes me happy to be an Accordance user. :)


As I have been tinkering around with various searches to perform for these videos, I have come to the same conclusion as well. I have not spent as much time with Logos 4 as I did with 3, but either version still presents a convoluted way to go about a task that ought to be much more simplified.

I have three more posts slotted for this series, but I am delaying for several reasons. Stay tuned: more are coming.
