mrderek
Hi there I use pages 09. When I highlight hebrew text, for some reason not all the verses appear. I've uploaded a pdf of a copy of Genesis 22 in Hebrew. As you can see, it's missing words. All I did was a simple copy-all, and paste. Any help would be appreciated. Also there's those funny arrow symbols at the beginning of the sentence that I'm not sure how to get rid of. Any help would be greatly appreciated! mrderek
Actually, on reading it again, I realised that it's the word ordering of the verses that is strange. If there's any way to set up the formatting like how it appears on accordance, (from right to left for all verses), that would be great.
Ken Simpson
Hi, if someone has Pages '09 it will be worth them chiming in, as I only have the latest version In that version, make sure that "text direction" is reversed in the Format menu. Then it pastes fine - at least it does for me. Is there something like that in Pages '09? Edited September 17, 2014 by Ken Simpson
Helen Brown
Pages 09 did not support Unicode Hebrew properly. Try the paste into TextEdit and it should appear OK. It might then copy and paste into Pages, but no promises. It's best to upgrade Pages. The arrows are to indicate a change in text direction, and usually they only appear in some fonts. You can avoid them by not using English verse references,
