Guntis
I've saved a workspace which opens Accordance to Matt 12:9. I type in the Search field Romans 8, it opens to Romans 8. In the lower right corner there is a Back button, I press it and… instead of Matt 12:9 it brings me all the way back to Genesis 1:1. WHY?! Absolutely wrong navigation. I wasn't at Gen 1:1 before, but at Mat 12:9. Please fix this bug. It's been long long time around… (I suspect it's also in iOS version). Joel Brown
If you want to go back to prior searches, use the search history, under the magnifying glass on the left side of the search entry box. If you simply want to jump to Romans 8, type it in the bottom right corner, and then you can use the Back/Forward buttons right next to it.

Not very intuitive… Button in the lover right has a tooltip which says: "Move to prior location", which it doesn't do if I perform just one search and want to return to the previous (initial) place. It brings me back to Gen 1:1, which is not the initial place when I open this workspace. I think it's confusing to remember when I should click on the search history and when I can click on the Back button. Both should work the same way. And the search history isn't as convenient one-click action as the Back button.
Guntis
Just checked OliveTree's Bible Reader. It does the same function as expected. When the app opens to some specific passage, that's the reference point it will return to when I go Back (actually swipe two fingers across the screen to the right). It seems so logical that it irritates me that Accordance doesn't act the same way but brings me back to Gen 1:1, which never was open when I opened app.
Abram K-J
I had a chance to play with the Olive Tree app not long ago--they have a ton of (customizable) swipe/flick/scroll options, and I'd love to see more of these added to iAccord, like a two-finger swipe to go forward or back in your history.
Guntis
If you want to go back to prior searches, use the search history, under the magnifying glass on the left side of the search entry box. I opened app, went to Mat 25, then searched for "tempt God", then tapped on the top left corner (glasses button). It opened Mat 4. Wanted to go back to the previous reference (Mat 25), tapped on the Back button and I'm in Genesis 1! This is not good navigation. Please fix it.
