Issue Opening Some Exchange Modules on MacBook Pro

Dr. Nathan Parker

Recommended Posts

When I try to open the following Exchange Modules on my MacBook Pro, I get the following dialog boxes (see attached images).

The files are correctly available in the User Tools and Texts folders.

This issue is not happening when I attempt to do the same from my iMac (they open perfectly fine).

What can I do to crack these files open on my MacBook Pro?

Thanks!

It's just asking you to select the file and click Open.

Hi Nathan,

It's a little hard to be sure looking at the icon view but are the icons greyed out? i.e. are they unselectable?

If they are, remove them from your library using control click, and re-add them using double-click or the add new tool item at the bottom of the library.

If they are selectable, then just as Helen suggests - just open them.

They are greyed out in the open view causing me not to be able to select them.

So basically I need to first remove them from my library, then go to the Finder and double click them?

Thanks!

I got an error message when trying to sync with DropBox – Poole came up as being a problem. So I removed the four recently installed Exchange Tools from my Accordance Library and also from the Documents > Accordance > User Tools. Then the sync went fine. So there is some kind of problem. I didn't have time to pursue it further. The other recently downloaded Tools were the two Gill files and MLK Letter.

  • 3 weeks later...

By the way, I got this one going. I finally had some free time today to work on it, and I should be good to go!
