Copy as Citation

I just noticed that when I do a "Copy as Citation" over multiple verses, there is no space between the verses where the verse numbering would have been. Is anyone else having this problem? See an example below. Apologies if this has been mentioned before.

“And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’””

(Luke 15:31–32 ESV)

I don't see it in NRSV. What are you citation preferences?

I just tried to replicate it, and it doesn't happen to me:

“And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”” (Luke 15:31–32 ESV)

Weird. It did happen to me. The space was there at first in the forum window, but it went away when I posted.

It doesn't happen in MS Word when I paste the same text, though.

Interesting. It happens me across all apps (that I have tried: Pages 5, Pages 4, Notes, Safari, Mail) and in all translations (ESVS, NIV, NAS95S are what I have tried).

As for settings, see attached image below.

I still have this issue periodically. Anyone else or is my computer just acting up?

Tried the ESVS in Word, Mail and Notes and I do not get the problem - I have not got Pages.
