William Cross Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Could you add an option to make the Instant Details Window disappear instead of fading? With limited screen space I find it useful to have the window overtop of my workspace. My problem is I can move the cursor faster than the ID window will fade. So I end up waiting for it to fade out in order to see what is behind it. Now the way I use it to compensate for this is by hitting the shortcut to bring it up and then close it every time I want to see some info. DanG Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 A HUGE third from me!! Here's what happens when it doesn't disappear fast enough. In the attached photo I'm trying to save a layout but the Instant Details Window didn't close fast enough, so now I can not edit the name of the file I'm trying to save.
