rory
I am considering purchasing the Library 7 Standard Level to start - as it appears to have the resources I desire. Library 7 Yet looking through the list, I am confused as to how many resources are actually included (unlocked already) as at the top of the list there is a reference to "Free Bible Unlocks". So my question is - are all the items in the column marked with an "X" unlocked for at the Standard Level? thanks for helping with my confusion. rory
Helen Brown
Yes, everything marked with an X is included in the level you choose. In addition, with Standard level, you may choose 2 Bibles that cost $30 from the Bible Unlock CD (1 for Intro level and 3 for Premier). Sorry it's so complicated: we wanted to give maximum flexibility to our users.
Bill Combs
I have heard from a number of students and others who are looking into Accordance that they have a difficult time understanding what packagae they should purchase and what exactly is included in the package. In other words, they express some frustration navigating your web site to purchase Accordance. I don't know if this criticism is justifed or whether anything can be done to make the buying experience easier, but I thought I would just pass it along for your information. As I say, this is just based on some random comments so I am not sure how much stock to put in it.

Barry
I'm also trying to understand what is included in the various packages before purchasing. I viewed both the "Demo-Standard" and "Demo-Scholars." I'm sure the Standard will be sufficient for me, but I am trying to figure out which of the packages this is, since there isn't any package labeled "Standard." I'm sort of thinking that "Standard" may be equivalent to the "Library 7" package, is that correct. If so, is everything shown in that demo included in Library 7, e.g. the timeline and atlas? On one of the webpages I read that you can download the Starter set for $39., but under "Packages" it states that the Starter Package is not for individual sale. I was also saw mention of a training dvd. Where do I find that on the website? Thanks for any assistance you can give this newbie to the site! Helen Brown
The Standard demo is not related to the Library 7 Standard, sorry! It just means non-specialist. The Atlas and Timeline are separate packages. You can compare the contents of the different levels of the Library. Don't forget that you can start with a lower level and upgrade to a higher at anytime, with no penalty. You will have all the modules on your 4 CD set, and we will just send you a new code. If you then click on one of the levels, you will see recommendations on the side including the Training DVD, Atlas, and other materials. The Timeline is harder to feature as it is just an unlock. The Starter is not for sale, it's free, but you must pay $39 for the program, which is credited towards a future upgrade to the Library or one of the other primary collections. Our sales staff are very good at explaining and helping you select the right packages, with no pressure to spend more than you want. It's too late to call tonight, but the office opens at 9 am EDT. Barry
Thank you, Helen. I wasn't expecting a response already from you this evening! I'll likely call tomorrow. Barry
Barry
I've been having trouble with my new MacBook and finally got around to reformatting the hard drive last night. I was also waiting until that was done to install Accordance (which arrived a day or two after I ordered it a few weeks ago!). And I was waiting to register for Princeton until I had Accordance was installed.... All that to ask-- Princeton is still has a waiting list, right?!? Helen Brown
Sorry, we are indeed overbooked for Princeton tomorrow, but you are welcome to come and see me there, ask any questions, buy at the seminar discount. Unless space is unexpectedly available, we cannot let you take a seat as several others are ahead of you on the list.
Barry
Thanks Helen, but I'll pass this time around. Maybe another seminar will be offered in our area-- Lancaster Theological Seminary Lancaster, PA Evangelical School of Theology Myerstown, PA Barry
Helen Brown
Sitting at the Amtrak station in Philly right now, on my way to Princeton. The Training DVD is an excellent substitute for the seminar, and one you can do at your convenience and your own pace.
Barry
Thanks, I'll try snooping around a bit on my own, but may revert then to the training dvd. Blessings to you for travelling by train! Barry
