Ken Simpson
Hi, found this strange one today. Looking at Job 6:11 on ESVi the word "should" appears twice (it doesn't have a key number because it's actually an English auxiliary of the main verb, ("wait" and "be patient"} if you tap and hold either of them, the little bar appears that asks you to copy/search/amplify etc. If you amplify, you get an error dialog - for obvious reasons, there's no key to use to amplify. Dismiss the dialog Tap and hold again so that the magnifier appears, when you let go...bang. Seems to be true for any word that doesn't have a key associated. (Happens in HCSBS, NIV11-G/K, NRSVS...I haven't tested all the keyed texts, but it doesn't occur in a non-keyed text. And now, after making it crash over and over, I can't make it crash doing this. (half an hour later) And now it's back, right after completely closing the app and starting from scratch... Scott Knapp
Ken, I reproduced it once after your post, but never since. I've gone ahead and added it to the list of potential bugs that needs to be investigated further. Thanks for the report, Scott.
Ken Simpson
Man I am glad i'm not you trying to find little annoying transient/intermittent squeakers like this. Thanks for the great work Scott. It is such a fantastic app now! I used to have Biblereader as well because it was easier to just "use" and "read" if I didn't want clever searches and Instant details. But it's now so good I uninstalled BR from my iphone and my ipad today. Well done.
