David Voth Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 I tried creating the Davidic Psalms range according to what was mentioned in the blog entry. However when I get to entering the range I get an error: "There are characters which are unexpected or in the wrong position as shown in the selection." It accepts everything up to Psalm 144, but if Psalm 145 is included it will give me the above error. What would cause this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Helen Brown Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Oh dear! I think you ran into the character limit for verse ranges. David was probably using an alpha of the next version in which the limit has been raised. Try making Ps 51-65 a range within the definition, and you should be able to include Ps 145. David Lang Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 It looks like I may have created a range which is too long for the range definition. It works for me in an alpha version of 7.2, but may be too long for the released version. Try taking all the spaces out by copying the list of psalms into Text Edit, then replace every "; " with just ";" That should put your range definition under the current limit.
