Guntis Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) I open commentary in the Reading Mode, highlight text, scroll up or down, and soon when I click in the text to select it for the highlighting, it exits Reading Mode and opens another pane in my workspace. It means I've clicked on some hyperlink in the commentary. But it wasn't hyperlink. It has happened to me 6-7 times this morning, in about 20-30 minutes. Annoying. And when I press Command+Option+3 to open highlighter palette while in Reading Mode, Accordance opens it, but it shows only lower half of that palette. Joel Brown Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 Hey Guntis, I'm having trouble reproducing your first issue. I opened my commentary (Tyndale in this case), went to Reading mode, made some selections of text, clicked around, etc. without any issue. Only when I clicked on a hyperlink specifically did it open the link and exit reading. Is there something different you are doing? Or could you post a video of your process? Regarding the Highlight popover, its a minor issue where the 'default' location of the popover isn't respecting Reading mode, so we'll fix this. However, if you make your selection first, it should properly place itself. In fact, this is really what you have to do, as otherwise the popover will go away when you click to make your selection (unless you make it floating). Guntis Posted January 6, 2014 Author Share Posted January 6, 2014 I opened the popover first because I wanted to detach it and use it as a palette. I like highlighting text, so that is easier for me. The best way would be: select highlighter tool (mode), select color, highlight text, here, there, anywhere. Then change color and highlight different words with that color. Just click-and-drag to highlight. Colors could have shortcuts so I could change them fast while highlighter tool is active. I will try to reproduce hyperlink problem and record it on video.
