rev.dave.lee
I recently lost my SDD and reinstalled Accordance on my new SSD. After using it once, it crashed during shutdown. Now when I try to open it Accordance tries to recover the most recent autosaved session but automatically crashes. I tried reinstalling Accordance but it didn't work. Please help! Ryan Mudge
Hi Dave, It sounds like there may be an issue with your Start Up Preference file. Click on the Finder and then, while holding down on the "OPTION" key go to and click on "GO" in the upper menu. You will see "Library" in that pop-up, click on it. Now, click on Preferences you will see the Accordance Preferences Folder. In here, look for a file called 'Start Up Session' delete it. If the Start-Up is not in there, delete the ‘General’ file Restart Accordance. note: If you needed to remove the ‘General’ file, You will once again be brought thru the Set-up Assistant, this is normal. David B Kennedy
I had this same problem today. Mac OS 10.13.6 using MacBook Pro; Accordance 12.2.8. When restarting laptop and starting Accordance, I received the box - "Accordance crashed or was not quit properly the last time it was used. Would you like to recover the most recent autosaved session?" Two options - Cancel; Recover. I have tried clicking both at different times. The button will highlight when I click it, but nothing happens. I have to use "Force Quit" to do anything with Accordance. I've deleted startup session as well as General in preferences. I've trashed current Accordance app and downloaded a new 12.2.8. Same box when I open it. The last time I had to enter my basic registration information. Still same results. I am at a loss. Help? I am a longtime Accordance user and love the program. Hardly any problems until today! - Dave Kennedy
Helen Brown
David was helped by screensharing with our tech support. They found his Accordance folder was in the System Library instead of the User Library. I don't know how it got there, but this is one of those cases that are best diagnosed with a screenshare because there is no standard solution.
