justinj
Hi, I recently reinstalled OS X 10.3.9 on an old G4. My plan is to just use this computer for bible study. The problem is that no matter which Accordance installer I use I cannot select my hard drive. There is plenty of space available but it doesn't show up in the list. At the point where I am supposed to Select Destination, the 7.4.2 and 8.3.3 installers says: Items will be installed on the disk "^D" If I try to install from my old 6.4 DVD the installation drive defaults to "Scholar's Collection 6.4" (i.e. the name of the DVD) and if I select my actual drive it instantly reverts back to "Scholar's Collection 6.4" and complains that the drive is locked when I attempt to proceed. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks, Justin
Helen Brown
This is a new problem to me. Have you tried a full shutdown and restart? Does Disk Utility find the disk, and can you do a Repair Permissions on it?

Does Disk Utility find the disk, and can you do a Repair Permissions on it? Disk Utility does recognize the disk. I repaired permissions and rebooted but the problem is still there. My hard drive is formatted with the UNIX File System. Could that possible be related?

My hard drive is formatted with the UNIX File System. Could that possible be related? I reinstalled OS X and selected HFS+ this time. Now Accordance installs fine. I am having an issue finding unlock codes for everything I've purchased though. I had BHS, NAS27 (if I remember the numbers correctly), BDB, and a handful of others. I thought some of those came with Core when I purchased it. I don't remember. Can you help me with this? Thanks.
Helen Brown
We cannot post the codes on the forum! Please email the sales office and they will help you.
