Vincent-Word Studies

To use the Vincent-Word Studies module, do I need the greek or can it be used as a dictionary off the ESV text?

Are there any other Greek word studies available for Accordance?

Thanks,

Gary

All our dictionaries and word studies can be used with the English text. If you have a key number text, you can also option-amplify to the original words if they are present in the tool.

You can see our range of Greek Tools and Hebrew Tools on the website, as well as English Dictionaries. There are way too many to list here. For Greek word studies I recommend NIDNTT and TDNT. For both Greek and Hebrew, Renn Bible Words.

When I select Vincent's Word Studies under the information is this text:

Free upgrade from Library 7

How do I get the free upgrade?

Thanks,

Gary

Hmm. I am not sure what you are asking. I realize now that Vincent is a Reference Tool in any case, it studies the words in a verse-by-verse format rather than alphabetically. It will work with any version of the Bible. I am not sure where you are reading that it is a free upgrade from version 7. It can only be purchased in the Classic I group or the Library Standard or Premier levels.

If you own the module, and since you have the Primary 8.1 DVD, you can run the installer and check the box for Update all Modules. This will update any modules that are older in your Accordance folder than the version on the DVD. After that, Check for Updates in the Accordance menu will update some modules further, except for some scholarly and other modules.

I think I correctly identified you (we do ask people to use a real name on the Forum) and found your account, and you do not own the mdoule. Perhaps we should continue this discussion off forum, and I can explain how you can acquire this module.
