Walter Colace Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 I'm new to Accordance and Mac, was PC and Logos. Just loaded the software and when I launch the program only the Search and Workspace Window open. But the Resource Palette, Library Window, and lower information window doesn't open. Helen Brown Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Accordance remembers the state of these windows when you quit, and preserves it when you reopen (also the Library window). Just open them from the Window menu and keep them open. Many ex-Windows users think that they need to close all windows when they quit a program, and that closing all windows does quit it. In fact the program is still running as the dock icon will indicate. On Mac you do not need to close any windows, you do need to choose Quit from the dock pop-up menu on the icon or the Application menu on the menu bar (or command Q). In Preferences/General you can set which of the main windows return when you open Accordance: a new Search window, a saved session, or the way it was when you quit.
