Battlesman
Is/are there (a) keyboard shortcut(s) for the context slider? If not, I'd like to make myself one or more through System Preferences ( --> Keyboard --> Shortcuts --> App Shortcuts) for the context slider. I've tried in vain to do this thus far, attempting "Set Context To" and "None," "1," etc., but none have worked thus far. Can someone help me figure out how to do this? Am I doing something incorrectly?
Abram K-J
I didn't see anything after looking through the Keyboard Shortcuts in the help files. And I could be wrong about this, but for the App Shortcuts to work, doesn't the operation have to correspond to something you can access from the drop-down program menus? Maybe that's why you can't set a shortcut in this case?
Ken Simpson
Hi Dustin. like Abram, I am pretty sure you can't do this. Way way ago there was a program called quickeys that could almost anything, and it could probably do this too. Haven't seen it for years though. Unless it's another area of ignorance of mine, then there's currently no way to do this. I just set my prefs to no context and specify context if I want to, or just press CMD-F5 to open a new pane with the context of the verse with the curs(or). Battlesman
So perhaps I should move this to the feature request page...
Greg Terry
Quickkeys is still around, albeit a little pricey for me: http://startly.com/products/quickeys/mac/4/ Keyboard Maestro appears to be similar but less expensive: http://www.stairways.com/main/ Edited May 22, 2014 by Greg Terry
